About the chaos in the country
Chaos in the Country.com is about my beginnings in freelance writing and becoming a work at home mom. I began writing professionally in late 2005 as I waited for the birth of my youngest son. Afterwards, I couldn’t put the pen down and tossed out all of my business clothes and lunch boxes to stay home full time and freelance as a professional writer.
About Nichole
Before becoming a freelance writer I’ve worked as everything from a day care provider to concession stand girl in a movie theater to an administrative assistant and a customer service representative for Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. I’ve had a colorful and interesting career path which has finally led me back to my first love; writing. All of my computer skills have been self taught or learned on while on the job.
For the last three years, I’ve built my freelance writing business from the ground up by providing content for private clients and their websites and blogs. I’ve also provided product reviews.
Where can I see more?
I’ve written for my local newspaper as a stringer for the last three years covering feature articles, human interest and education news. I’ve also put pen to paper for numerous Internet sites and hundreds of online articles. I’ve written on every topic from personal finance to parenting and relationships.
